‘The Gig Society’ Released

Two days ago, on February 4th, my debut book was released! It is a relief to see over a year’s worth of time and effort culminate in this grand way. To those of you who are supporting me this week with book purchases: thank you!

I started this process in the month leading up to the 2018 midterm elections. Historians will remember that month as a partisan nightmare, as each side of the political aisle would posture and try to grab power through various circumstance: there was Justice Kavanaugh’s hearings, a caravan from Mexico, and Robert Mueller’s investigation. As these issues loomed over the political sphere, there was a lack of concern in Washington over one of the great threats to our society: technology.

As such, I was motivated by the lack of focus in our leaders to research, speak out on, and confront these threats. Additionally, I wanted to be a voice and advocate for the necessary changes we must make to ensure our culture of freedom and privacy remains alive in the digital age. We have a lot to lose if we don’t address the societal changes brought by modern tech. The American people deserve to know what those changes are, as well as the best way to morph them to reduce the negative effects.

Over a year later, The Gig Society is finally published and available for sale! You can read the introduction here. If you haven’t yet, you can pick up a copy for just $3.99 on Kindle. Alternatively, you can order a physical version from any book retailer’s online store. Here is the link to Amazon for that.

Thanks again to all who have given their support!
